TrainerLoop
This Privacy Policy applies only to the TrainerLoop iPhone and iPad app and the TrainerLoop-specific pages on the Goodale Studios website. Other Goodale Studios apps have their own privacy policies.
TrainerLoop does not require an account, has no developer-operated app server, and does not include advertising, behavioral analytics, third-party tracking, or data-broker integrations.
Your TrainerLoop profiles, client records, dog records, selected photos, transcripts, plans, lesson progress, and history are stored locally on your device. Nothing is sent to a client or another service until you choose a destination in Apple’s share sheet or open an external link.
Depending on how you use the app, TrainerLoop can store your name and business profile; client names, contact details, and private notes; dog names, breeds, birth dates, goals, safety notes, and selected photos; session dates, durations, transcripts, private notes, plans, exercise templates, shared-plan snapshots, and history; Academy progress; and your Personal or Business workspace preference.
This information is used only to provide TrainerLoop’s on-device features. Goodale Studios cannot view, retrieve, correct, or remotely delete it because TrainerLoop does not send it to a Goodale Studios server.
A dog photo is accessed only when you select it with Apple’s photo picker. TrainerLoop creates a smaller JPEG copy, applies the image orientation, removes source metadata by re-encoding the image, and stores the copy in the app’s local application-support folder. The original remains in your Photos library.
Dog photos are not included in TrainerLoop’s shared text plans or branded PDFs.
TrainerLoop requests microphone and speech-recognition permission only when you choose to record a spoken recap. Recognition is required to run on the device. Audio is processed live and is not saved by TrainerLoop; the resulting text transcript is stored locally with the session. You can use the complete typing workflow without either permission.
You can change microphone and speech-recognition permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
TrainerLoop Pro is offered through Apple’s StoreKit and the App Store. Apple processes purchases and payment information. TrainerLoop reads Apple-verified product and entitlement information to show subscription choices, unlock Pro, and restore purchases. Goodale Studios does not receive or store your payment-card details through the app.
Apple’s handling of App Store and subscription information is governed by Apple’s privacy policy and terms.
TrainerLoop does not automatically send training records to anyone. When you choose to share, the app prepares text or a PDF locally and opens Apple’s share sheet. Built-in exports exclude the raw session transcript, client private notes, session private notes, and dog photo.
Review the owner preview before sending. After you choose Mail, Messages, AirDrop, cloud storage, or another destination, that service receives the content and applies its own privacy practices. Goodale Studios does not receive a copy through TrainerLoop.
Opening an external link takes you outside TrainerLoop, where the destination’s privacy practices apply. TrainerLoop does not use external links to track you.
If you email support, Goodale Studios receives your email address and anything you choose to include. This information is used to answer your request, investigate problems, protect the service, and meet legal obligations; it is not sold or used for targeted advertising.
The Goodale Studios website host may process routine technical request data, such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and timestamp, to deliver and secure the site. Website activity is separate from locally stored TrainerLoop content.
Please do not send client details, private notes, transcripts, dog photos, or other sensitive records unless necessary. Redact identifying details when possible.
Local records remain until you delete the applicable record or delete the app. Archiving hides a record but does not delete it. Permanently deleting a client or dog also deletes the related TrainerLoop history and local dog photo as described by the app’s confirmation message.
Deleting TrainerLoop removes its local data from that device. Copies in an iPhone or iPad backup remain governed by your Apple backup settings. Previously exported or shared content must be deleted from its destination separately.
Support emails may be retained as reasonably necessary to answer requests, maintain support records, protect against misuse, and meet legal obligations. Website technical logs follow the host’s operational and security practices.
TrainerLoop relies on the iOS app sandbox and Apple’s device and file-protection features to help protect local data. No storage system is perfectly secure. Protect your device with a passcode, keep iOS current, and avoid entering information that is not needed.
TrainerLoop is intended for dog owners and training professionals and is not designed to solicit personal information from children. It has no account, public profile, advertising, or social features. A parent or guardian should supervise a minor’s use. Contact us if you believe a child sent personal information to support.
Because Goodale Studios does not possess your locally stored TrainerLoop content, support cannot retrieve, export, or remotely erase it for you.
Goodale Studios does not sell TrainerLoop app data, share it for cross-app behavioral advertising, or use it to track you across apps or websites. TrainerLoop does not request App Tracking Transparency permission because it does not perform tracking.
We may update this policy when TrainerLoop’s features or legal obligations change. The page will show a revised date, and App Store privacy information will be updated before a release that materially changes data handling.
