Privacy

Your privacy matters to Goodale Studios.

Goodale Studios builds apps for real people — families, scrappers, learners, and players. We design each app to collect as little unnecessary data as possible unless a feature genuinely requires it.

Effective July 31, 2026

Our approach

We aim to keep data collection minimal, transparent, and tied to app functionality. When data is stored, we prefer on-device storage where practical.

App-specific policies

Studio Guide

AI chatbot privacy

Studio Guide is an automated AI assistant. It can make mistakes. It is for general questions about Goodale Studios and its apps, not emergencies or legal, medical, financial, or account-security advice.

When you send a message, Goodale Studios transmits the chat messages needed for that conversation to the OpenAI API. OpenAI processes those messages and sends the generated response back to this website. Do not use Studio Guide to submit names, email addresses, phone numbers, home addresses, account details, passwords, payment-card information, Social Security numbers, medical records, private financial information, API keys, access tokens, or other sensitive, confidential, regulated, or personally identifiable information.

Goodale Studios sets the OpenAI Responses API request to store: false. OpenAI states that API data is not used to train or improve its models by default unless the API customer explicitly opts in to data sharing. If optional sharing is enabled for the applicable OpenAI API project, shared inputs and outputs may be used to improve OpenAI systems. OpenAI also states that abuse-monitoring logs may contain prompts and responses and are retained for up to 30 days by default, with limited exceptions such as legal requirements or protecting services and third parties from harm. Read OpenAI's current API data-controls documentation.

Goodale Studios does not intentionally put Studio Guide prompts or replies in an application database, analytics product, or production content log. Chat text is held in the current browser page so the conversation can be displayed and is cleared when the page is closed, reloaded, or the chat is reset. The browser stores one local acknowledgment flag, but no chat content, so the privacy reminder is not repeatedly shown.

To operate and protect the service, Goodale Studios temporarily keeps a one-way hashed visitor signal in server memory for the one-minute rate-limit window. Production error logging is limited to non-content technical fields such as error type, status, and safe error code; prompts, replies, and blocked values are not included. The website host may separately retain ordinary request metadata under its own account settings and policies.

You may email support@goodalestudios.com to request deletion of records Goodale Studios controls. Because Goodale Studios does not keep an application-level copy of chat content, it generally will not have a stored transcript to delete. Goodale Studios cannot promise to delete data retained independently by OpenAI or another service provider; their own controls, retention rules, and legal obligations apply.

Website

Privacy-friendly traffic measurement

This website uses Vercel Web Analytics after it is enabled for the production project. Vercel describes the service as cookie-free and based on anonymized traffic data. It can process ordinary page-view information such as the requested page, referrer, general device/browser type, and coarse geographic region under Vercel's policies.

Goodale Studios also sends fixed, non-personal event labels for actions such as opening an official store listing, moving between ScrapValue and a guide, choosing support, selecting an honest review link, or downloading a press asset. Event properties use product and page labels only. They do not include names, email addresses, receipt content, yard records, chat messages, account identifiers, or other free-form visitor input.

Read Vercel's current Web Analytics privacy and compliance documentation.

Support communications

If you email us for support, we receive the information you choose to send — such as your message, app name, and device details — so we can help resolve your request. Support email is separate from Studio Guide and is not sent to OpenAI by this website. Do not send passwords, payment-card information, access tokens, or other secrets.

Children and families

Room of Many Doors is designed for family-friendly storytelling. Parents and guardians should supervise children's use and contact us with any privacy concerns.
