support@goodalestudios.comWhen will Camp Together: Family Camping be available?
Camp Together: Family Camping is being prepared for a free iPhone and iPad release. This page will show the official App Store link as soon as Apple makes the listing public.
Does Camp Together work without Wi-Fi?
Yes. Lessons, survival guidance, recipes, fishing content, campfire stories, checklists, and the local breadcrumb trail are designed to work offline. App Store services and optional Apple map imagery can require a connection.
Is the complete app free?
Yes. The launch edition unlocks the complete recipe, fishing, story, survival, family-course, compass, trail, checklist, journal, and memory experience without ads or a subscription.
Where are our memories and trail points stored?
They stay in the app's private storage on your device. Goodale Studios does not receive them and cannot recover them if they are deleted or unavailable from your device backup.
Why does the compass or trail tool need location permission?
The app needs foreground location and heading readings to show direction, distance, accuracy, altitude, and locally recorded breadcrumb points. It does not request background location or send your position to Goodale Studios.
Can Camp Together replace navigation or emergency equipment?
No. Carry an appropriate map, compass, lighting, power, communication, first-aid supplies, and emergency plan. Device sensors, batteries, GPS, maps, and software can be inaccurate or unavailable.
Are the recipes food-safe?
Recipes include measured ingredients and doneness or holding guidance, but conditions and equipment vary. Use a food thermometer, protect cold food, avoid cross-contamination, and follow current public-health guidance.
Does the fishing guide replace local rules?
No. Confirm current licenses, seasons, size and possession limits, permitted methods, water access, closures, and fish-consumption advisories with the responsible agency before fishing.
How should I report a problem?
Email support with the device model, iOS version, app version, screen involved, and steps immediately before the problem. Include a screenshot only if it does not expose a private location or family information.
