A complete reminder routine, without the clutter

  • Flexible schedules

Add one or more reminder times, choose any combination of weekdays, and pause or resume a medication without rewriting past history.

  • Actionable reminders

Mark a dose Taken, Snooze it for 10, 15, or 30 minutes, or Skip it directly from a local notification.

  • A clear Today view

See the next dose, daily progress, upcoming and overdue states, instructions, and low-supply warnings at a glance.

  • Adherence history

Review seven- and thirty-day summaries, inspect each day, correct a status, or undo an entry while preserving the schedule that was active at the time.

  • Refill awareness

Optionally track remaining quantity, quantity per dose, and a refill threshold. Inventory adjusts when a dose is taken and is restored when that entry is undone.

  • Apple Watch ready

Check today’s plan, record Taken or Skipped, undo an entry, see low supply, and add a next-dose complication to your watch face.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers about DosePrompt.

What should I include in a support request?

Include your iPhone and Apple Watch models, operating-system versions, DosePrompt version and build, the screen you were using, the steps immediately before the problem, and the exact error message. Do not send medication names, dosage details, adherence history, or a backup file unless necessary; redact sensitive information when possible.

Why did I not receive a reminder?

Open DosePrompt Settings and check Notification Access. If it is Off, use Open Notification Settings and allow notifications. Also confirm that the medication is active, the intended weekdays and times are selected, Focus settings allow the alert, and your devices are not in a state that suppresses notifications. DosePrompt cannot guarantee delivery when the operating system, device settings, or device availability prevents an alert.

How do Taken, Skip, Snooze, Change, and Undo work?

Taken and Skip record the status for that scheduled dose. Snooze delays the alert by your selected 10-, 15-, or 30-minute interval without changing the original dose time. Change lets you correct a recorded status, and Undo removes the entry. If refill tracking is enabled, Taken subtracts the configured quantity per dose and Undo restores it.

Why is DosePrompt not updating on Apple Watch?

Confirm that the watch is paired, the DosePrompt watch app is installed, and Bluetooth or Wi-Fi communication is available. Open DosePrompt on both devices to encourage an immediate refresh. Changes made while one device is unavailable are queued and should transfer when Apple Watch Connectivity becomes available again.

How do I add the next-dose complication?

Edit a compatible watch face on Apple Watch or in the Watch app on iPhone, choose a complication position, and select DosePrompt — Next Dose. Circular, rectangular, and inline accessory families are supported.

Where is my information stored?

Medication and adherence information is stored locally on your iPhone and paired Apple Watch. DosePrompt has no account, cloud sync, analytics service, or Goodale Studios app-data server. Apple device backups may include app data depending on your settings.
