Location
Carcade may request approximate location while using the app to identify the current U.S. state and load local trivia or Journey Adventure content. Goodale Studios does not create a location history or store this information in a Carcade account. You may decline location access and choose a state manually.
The Google Mobile Ads and consent services used by Carcade may process coarse location as described below. Carcade does not provide those services with your precise GPS location.
Game information
Carcade stores game selections, scores, progress, and settings locally on the device as needed to provide the experience. Carcade does not require an account, public profile, or social login.
Advertising
The free version of Carcade uses Google Mobile Ads to display general-audience banner advertising on setup and results screens, not during active gameplay. Google's advertising and consent software may collect or process device identifiers, advertising data, product interaction, coarse location, crash data, performance data, and other diagnostic data for advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, and service operation. Some advertising-related data may be linked to a device and a device identifier may be used for tracking where permitted.
Where required, Carcade presents Google's consent choices before requesting ads. Available choices depend on your region and device settings. Removing ads prevents Carcade from requesting or displaying Google ads after the purchase entitlement is recognized. Purchases
Carcade offers a one-time, non-consumable App Store purchase to remove ads. Apple processes the purchase, payment details, and Apple Account entitlement. Carcade checks the StoreKit entitlement on the device and does not receive your full payment-card information. You can use Restore Purchases in Settings when the same Apple Account does not automatically restore the entitlement.
Children and family use
Carcade is designed for shared family use. It does not ask children to create an account or publish personal content. A parent or responsible adult should supervise use and operate the host device while traveling.
Safety
Carcade is intended to be operated by a passenger or another responsible host. The driver should remain attentive to the road and should not interact with the screen while driving.
