This policy is specific to NextProof
This Privacy Policy applies to the NextProof iPhone app and NextProof-specific pages on the Goodale Studios website. Other Goodale Studios apps have their own privacy policies.
NextProof does not include advertising, cross-app tracking, third-party analytics SDKs, or a Goodale Studios server that receives your proof vault.
Information you choose to add
NextProof can store the profile name and career goal you enter, along with your notes, structured proof, skills, metrics, next moves, favorites, archive status, and app preferences. This information is used to provide features you request.
Goodale Studios does not receive your private proof-vault records through the app and cannot browse, retrieve, correct, or remotely export them for you.
On-device intelligence
On supported devices, NextProof uses Apple’s on-device language model to structure notes and explore career scenarios. When that model is unavailable, the app uses a deterministic local fallback. Requests are not sent to a paid external AI service.
Generated text may be incomplete or inaccurate. Review names, numbers, outcomes, and recommendations before saving or relying on them.
Microphone and speech recognition
NextProof requests microphone and speech-recognition permission only when you choose voice capture. Speech recognition is required to run on the device. The transcript becomes an editable note; NextProof does not intentionally retain audio after transcription.
Voice capture is optional. You can complete the entire capture workflow by typing.
Storage and private iCloud sync
Your proof vault is stored in the app’s private data store. On supported devices signed in to iCloud, Apple CloudKit may sync that data through your private iCloud account. Goodale Studios does not receive access to your private CloudKit records through NextProof.
Apple processes iCloud information under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy. iCloud availability, account status, device settings, and Apple services can affect synchronization.
Subscriptions and reminders
Apple processes NextProof Pro purchases and payment information. NextProof reads Apple-verified product and entitlement information to show subscription choices, unlock Pro features, and restore purchases. Goodale Studios does not receive payment-card details through the app.
If you enable a weekly proof reminder and grant permission, NextProof schedules it locally. You can disable reminders in the app and manage notification permission in iOS Settings.
Sharing, deletion, and security
NextProof does not automatically publish or send your evidence. PDF packets are created locally, and nothing leaves the app until you choose a destination in Apple’s share sheet.
You can delete individual entries or all evidence in Settings. Deleting cloud-synced evidence may also remove it from your other devices. NextProof relies on the iOS app sandbox, Apple device protections, and private CloudKit access controls.
Website access and support
The Goodale Studios website host may process routine technical request data, such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, and timestamp, to deliver and secure the site. Website activity is separate from your private NextProof vault.
If you email support, Goodale Studios receives your email address and anything you include. Do not send confidential employer or client information unless necessary. For privacy requests, contact peter.goodale@icloud.com.
Children, changes, and contact
NextProof is intended for working-age users and is not directed to children under 13. It does not include public profiles, advertising, or social features.
We may update this policy when the product or legal requirements change. A revised policy will show a new effective date.
For questions about NextProof privacy, email Goodale Studios at peter.goodale@icloud.com.
