A gentle promise and this policy’s scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Room of Many Doors app and the Room of Many Doors-specific pages on the Goodale Studios website. Other Goodale Studios apps have their own privacy policies.
Room of Many Doors is designed for quiet family reading. Story progress, favorites, sound settings, onboarding completion, and continue-reading state are saved on this device so the app can remember where you left off.
The app does not require a Goodale Studios account and does not include advertising, cross-app tracking, or a Goodale Studios app-data server. Goodale Studios does not sell Room of Many Doors data.
Purchases
Purchases and restore checks are handled through the App Store or Google Play billing systems. Apple or Google processes store-account, payment, purchase, and transaction information under its own privacy policy. Goodale Studios does not receive your payment-card information or store-account password through the app.
Room of Many Doors receives the purchase status needed to unlock content and stores whether the unlock is available on this device.
Analytics
The production app does not include an analytics SDK and does not send product-event analytics to Goodale Studios. It does not collect child names, typed content, location, contacts, or advertising identifiers.
Development builds can write local diagnostic messages for events such as opening or completing a story, finishing onboarding, sharing the app, or requesting a review prompt. These debug-only messages are not transmitted by Room of Many Doors and the logging code does nothing in production builds.
Device storage and deletion
Story progress and preferences remain on the device until you reset them or delete the app. Your Apple or Google device backup may include app data according to your backup settings. Deleting the app removes its local data from that device, subject to any platform backup you control.
Support messages and children’s privacy
If you email support@goodalestudios.com, Goodale Studios receives your email address and the information you choose to include. Support correspondence may be kept as reasonably necessary to answer the request, maintain support records, prevent misuse, and meet legal obligations.
A parent or guardian should send support requests for a child. Do not include a child’s full name, address, school, precise location, photographs, voice recordings, passwords, store-account credentials, payment-card details, or other sensitive information. Redact personal information from screenshots before attaching them.
Changes and contact
For Room of Many Doors privacy questions or requests, email support@goodalestudios.com and include Room of Many Doors in the subject line. Material changes to this policy will be posted here with a revised effective date.
