Errand Arc
This Privacy Policy applies to the Errand Arc iPhone and iPad app and the Errand Arc pages on the Goodale Studios website. Other Goodale Studios products have their own privacy information.
Errand Arc does not require a Goodale Studios account and does not include advertising, cross-app tracking, or a third-party analytics SDK.
Errand Arc can store run names, departure times, reminder choices, stop names and addresses, map coordinates, categories, task notes, expected durations, time windows, priorities, handling needs, route order, completion state, and route estimates that you create.
Those records are used to build and display your runs, calculate Smart Order results, show recent history and insights, and duplicate an eligible completed run. They remain in the app's private local storage. Goodale Studios does not operate an Errand Arc account or errand-data server and cannot browse or remotely recover that database for you.
Location access is optional and requested only when you ask Errand Arc to plan from your current location. If you allow it, the app requests an approximate current coordinate for that planning session. You can deny access and search for a starting place manually.
A starting coordinate you explicitly choose for a run can be stored with that run. Errand Arc does not request background location, create a location trail, or send current location to Goodale Studios.
Errand Arc uses Apple's MapKit services for business and address suggestions and to resolve the place you select. Search text, a nearby search region when available, and related technical information may be processed by Apple under Apple's terms and privacy practices.
When you choose directions, Errand Arc opens the selected destination in Apple Maps. Apple Maps—not Errand Arc—provides navigation, live road information, and its own handling of map activity.
If you allow notifications and set a run reminder, iOS stores a local notification request containing the run name, stop count, and scheduled time. The reminder is delivered by the operating system and is not sent through a Goodale Studios notification server.
You can change notification permission in iOS Settings. Removing a reminder or deleting its run removes the related pending request when the app performs that action.
Apple processes Errand Arc Pro purchases, subscription renewals, eligible refunds, and payment information. Errand Arc reads Apple-verified product and entitlement information to show localized choices, unlock Pro, restore access, and keep verified access available offline.
Goodale Studios does not receive payment-card details through Errand Arc. Apple handles Apple Account and App Store information under its own terms and privacy policy.
You can delete individual runs or use Delete all Errand Arc data in Settings. Deleting all data is permanent on that device and does not cancel an App Store subscription. Deleting the app removes its local container, subject to Apple's device backup and restore behavior.
If you email support@goodalestudios.com, Goodale Studios receives your email address and anything you include so the request can be answered. Avoid sending a complete errand history, precise home location, medical details, or other sensitive information unless it is necessary and you intend to share it.
The Goodale Studios website host may process routine technical request data such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, and timestamp to deliver, secure, and understand public website use. Website activity is separate from the local Errand Arc database.
Errand Arc is a general productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13. It has no public profiles, chat, or social feed.
Goodale Studios may update this policy when the app, platform services, or legal requirements change. A revised page will show a new effective date. Questions may be sent to support@goodalestudios.com.
