Goodale’s Travels Support
Help with sailing, landing, island exploration, saved progress, and the current iPhone test build.
support@goodalestudios.comWhen will Goodale’s Travels be available?
Goodale’s Travels has a signed, playable iPhone build and is in active on-device testing. It is not yet a public App Store release. A download link will appear here when the release build is ready.
How do I sail the ship?
Use the rudder control to turn and the sail control to set speed. The heading bar, speed readout, wind direction, and harbor distance help you line up an approach. Center recenters the view, and Reset Ship returns the vessel to a safe sailing position if needed.
How do I get off the ship and explore an island?
Sail toward the named harbor. When Go Ashore becomes available, tap it. The ship is brought safely into harbor and play continues on foot, where you can explore the island beyond the dock.
What can I discover on the islands?
The current voyage includes five island destinations and five settlements hidden away from their ports: Pinewatch Hamlet, Lagoon End, High Beacon Hamlet, Stonecross, and Ashfield. Each island is intended to be searched on foot.
Can I send feedback or report a problem?
Yes. Include your iPhone model, iOS version, the screen or island involved, what you expected to happen, and the steps immediately before the problem. A screenshot is especially helpful for control, camera, collision, or character-placement issues.
Where is my voyage progress stored?
Progress is stored locally on your device. Goodale’s Travels does not currently provide a Goodale Studios account or cloud-sync service, so deleting the app or losing the device may remove progress.
How are purchases handled?
If your version offers an in-app purchase, Apple handles the transaction. For help with an item that was not delivered, email support with the product name, approximate purchase date, device model, and app version. Never send Apple ID credentials or payment-card details.
