Contribute only memories and information you believe are accurate and that you have the right to share. Keep contributions attributable to yourself and respect the archive owner, other people, and their privacy.
Do not submit unlawful content, harassment, hate or abuse, sexual exploitation, threats or violence, encouragement of self-harm, impersonation, scams, spam, or another person’s private information without permission.
Owner review, reporting, and blocking
The archive owner reviews each contribution and may approve it, request a correction, reject it, report it, or remove the contributor’s access. Approval keeps the contribution separately attributed; it does not turn the contribution into an owner-authored memory.
Existing archive visibility, consent, and AI-permission rules still apply. Ever Known provides in-app controls to report a family contribution or generated AI response. An owner may also block a reported contributor from that archive. Do not misuse reporting or blocking tools to harass another person.
Moderation and retention
Goodale Studios may retain a private moderation report for up to 180 days and may remove content or restrict access when needed for safety, legal compliance, or enforcement. Reports are not published in an archive and do not silently become preserved memories or personality evidence.
These contribution guidelines supplement the current Ever Known Terms and Privacy Policy. A newer version must be displayed and affirmatively accepted before a later contribution can be submitted.
