Agreement and Apple terms
Effective July 19, 2026. These DosePrompt Terms of Use supplement the Apple Standard End User License Agreement that governs your license to the app. If these Terms conflict with the Apple Standard EULA, the Apple Standard EULA controls. These Terms do not replace rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
By downloading or using DosePrompt, you agree to these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA. If you are not old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept them for you.
What DosePrompt provides
DosePrompt provides local tools for user-entered medication schedules, reminders, dose status, adherence history, refill awareness, backup export and restore, iPhone–Apple Watch synchronization, and a next-dose watch complication.
DosePrompt is provided free of charge and has no advertising, subscriptions, in-app purchases, paid feature tiers, or Goodale Studios account.
Medical and emergency disclaimer
DosePrompt is a general reminder and recordkeeping tool. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose a condition, recommend or verify a medication or dosage, prescribe treatment, detect an overdose or drug interaction, guarantee adherence, contact a caregiver, or provide emergency services.
Follow the label and instructions from your clinician or pharmacist. Confirm any medication decision or schedule change with a qualified professional. Do not delay professional care because of information in DosePrompt. Contact local emergency services or an appropriate poison-control resource for an emergency or suspected medication error.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for entering accurate medication, dosage, schedule, instruction, inventory, and history information and for reviewing it regularly. DosePrompt does not independently verify your entries.
- Keep authoritative medication instructions available outside DosePrompt.
- Review notification permissions, device settings, schedules, and recorded statuses.
- Protect access to devices, notifications, and exported backup files.
- Use DosePrompt only for information you are authorized to store.
- Maintain appropriate backups if you need recovery beyond local storage.
Notifications, devices, and synchronization
Notification timing and presentation depend on Apple operating systems, permissions, Focus modes, device power and connectivity, time-zone and clock settings, and other circumstances outside Goodale Studios’ control. A reminder may be delayed, suppressed, duplicated, or unavailable. Do not rely on DosePrompt as your only medication safeguard.
Apple Watch synchronization and complication updates depend on a compatible paired watch, installation state, Watch Connectivity, and Apple’s background-delivery behavior. Verify important status directly rather than assuming two devices are current.
Local data and backups
DosePrompt stores app records locally and does not provide a Goodale Studios recovery or cloud-sync service. Removing records, erasing app data, restoring a backup, deleting the app, changing devices, or device failure can cause permanent data loss.
Exported JSON backups can contain sensitive health-related information. You choose and are responsible for the storage destination, recipient, access controls, retention, and deletion of exported files.
License and acceptable use
Your license is governed by the Apple Standard EULA and Apple’s Usage Rules. You may use DosePrompt for lawful personal purposes.
You may not misuse the app, interfere with its operation, violate law or another person’s rights, remove ownership notices, redistribute or sell the app, or copy, reverse engineer, or create derivative works except where applicable law expressly permits it.
Privacy and external services
The DosePrompt Privacy Policy at goodalestudios.com/doseprompt/privacy explains local records, Apple Watch transfer, notifications, backups, deletion, website access, and support messages.
DosePrompt relies on Apple platform services for notifications, watch communication, complications, document selection, and sharing. Apple and any destination you select have their own terms and privacy practices.
Ownership
DosePrompt, its design, software, branding, and publisher-provided content are owned by Goodale Studios or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership. Apple and third-party names and marks remain the property of their respective owners.
Availability, warranties, and liability
DosePrompt is provided subject to the warranties and remedies in the Apple Standard EULA and rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law. To the fullest extent permitted, DosePrompt is provided as is and as available without a promise of uninterrupted operation, notification delivery, synchronization, data recovery, or suitability for a particular medical routine.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Goodale Studios is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from missed or incorrect entries, delayed or absent notifications, inaccurate user-entered information, loss of local records or exports, device or watch communication, medication decisions, or a third-party service. Nothing excludes liability or consumer rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Termination, changes, and contact
You may stop using DosePrompt and delete it at any time. Your license ends as required by the Apple Standard EULA or if you materially violate these Terms. Provisions that by nature should continue remain effective after use ends.
We may update these Terms when DosePrompt, Apple requirements, or applicable law changes. A revised page will show a new effective date, and material changes will receive additional notice where appropriate.
Questions about these Terms may be sent to Goodale Studios — DosePrompt Support at support@goodalestudios.com.
