The Crack the Vault core journey
Use this sequence to understand the main flow. Individual screens and labels may evolve with updates, but the product goal remains consistent: feel the mechanism. find the gate. crack the vault.
- Choose a job at headquarters: Begin with an unlocked contract and review its district, difficulty, time target, and possible rewards before opening the vault.
- Follow the required direction: Drag around the 3D dial clockwise or counterclockwise as the moving gold guide indicates. Direction changes are part of the combination.
- Read the signal: Listen for mechanical clicks, watch the visual pulse, and feel haptics strengthen as the dial approaches a hidden gate.
- Release with control: Stop at the strongest signal instead of chasing speed. A clean release sets the gate and prepares the next direction.
- Review the solve: Use time, accuracy, stars, coins, and best-run feedback to decide whether to advance or replay for mastery.
How to know the session worked
A successful run feels controlled: you understand why each gate opened, can repeat the motion, and improve a specific part of the solve on the next attempt.
