The Smoosh! core journey
Use this sequence to understand the main flow. Individual screens and labels may evolve with updates, but the product goal remains consistent: see it. tap it. smoosh it.
- Choose an unlocked level: Review the target score, timer, and bug mix, then begin with the species already familiar from earlier stages.
- Watch before tapping: Read each bug's path for a moment. Movement family and speed often reveal where the next reliable tap will be.
- Protect the streak: Smoosh cleanly without letting a bug escape to preserve the multiplier that turns accuracy into a high score.
- Prioritize the threat: Fast, durable, high-value, or edge-bound bugs may need attention before an easy target in the middle of the playfield.
- Replay for stars: After clearing the target, return with a specific goal: fewer escapes, a longer combo, or a better score.
How to know the session worked
Improvement becomes visible when a player recognizes species sooner, keeps longer combinations, prevents more escapes, and earns higher stars through control rather than frantic tapping.
