HVAC Toolbox Pro
This Privacy Policy applies to the HVAC Toolbox Pro iPhone app and its pages on the Goodale Studios website. Other Goodale Studios products have their own privacy information.
HVAC Toolbox Pro does not require an account and does not include advertising, cross-app tracking, or a third-party analytics SDK. Goodale Studios does not operate a server that receives the app's company, customer, job, note, or calculation records.
The app can store favorites, preferences, field notes, saved calculation inputs and results, company identity, customer and site details, systems, technician names, job numbers, scope, status, checklist answers, KPI state, and other job information you enter.
These records are stored locally in the app's protected container using device preferences and files. Goodale Studios cannot browse or remotely restore this local database. Your device backup settings and Apple's platform behavior can affect whether app data is included in a device backup or restore.
When you create a PDF report or CSV export, HVAC Toolbox Pro generates it locally from the information you selected. The file can contain company, customer, site, system, technician, field-reading, checklist, and note information.
The app opens Apple's share sheet so you can choose a destination. The destination you select—such as Mail, Messages, Files, cloud storage, or another installed app—handles the exported file under its own privacy practices. Review the report and recipient before sharing customer or project information.
The current release does not require Contacts, Location, Photos, Camera, Microphone, Bluetooth, Health, or a Goodale Studios account. It does not retrieve measurements from connected instruments.
Apple processes the App Store purchase, payment information, regional availability, download, and platform diagnostics under Apple's terms and privacy practices. Goodale Studios does not receive your full payment-card details through the app.
You control the records stored by the app. Delete individual notes, saved results, or jobs through the available controls. Removing the app deletes its local container, subject to Apple's device backup and restore behavior. Export records you are required to retain before deleting them.
If you email support@goodalestudios.com, Goodale Studios receives your email address and anything you include so the request can be answered. Remove customer names, addresses, equipment identifiers, readings, and project documents unless they are necessary and you intend to share them.
The Goodale Studios website host can process routine technical request data such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and timestamp to deliver, secure, and understand use of the public website. Website activity is separate from the app's local job records.
Goodale Studios may revise this policy when the app, platform services, or legal requirements change. The current page will show a new effective date. Questions may be sent to support@goodalestudios.com.
